The Beginning...

Its been a while since I've written an entry. School has already started and I am finally in my last year. It's exciting to think (if I pass) that I will be working as a special educator. I pray to be excellent in it and to be an influence to those I teach. The truth is the more I intern in public schools, the more I realize how much Christian teachers are needed. A lot of our kids in this country need prayer, the generation that is coming up needs prayer.

Lately, I've been bogged down with so many truths that I'm not even sure why I know them. I would like to think that I know them because God wants me to pray. Pray really hard. There cannot possibly be any other reason of why I would want to be weighed down with certain truths. And this is when I realize God listens to prayers. I always say I want to be a blessing and I want to help others out. I guess God is giving me a way to do this through prayer, and therefore answering my prayer. See how God works. He answers. Not always the way we expect, but never-the-less he does. There is something though that cannot be denied and that is that our God is powerful. Not so long ago we prayed a lot for a boy, Daniel, who almost drowned. We didn't know what would happen because he was in a coma, and his lungs had received a lot of damage. Yet within a week he got out of the coma, started to breath on his own, and got out of the hospital. So many people prayed for him and our Mighty God heard us. Praise be to Him!

Matthew 21.21-22 "Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.""(NIV)
