Heartbreaking Love Story

So I was looking through yahoo news - a usual thing I do because they have the most random news feed ever - and found this title: Heartbreaking Love Story. Not able to resist I clicked on it and was quite surprised. I can honestly say this story broke my heart - but at the same time there is something to be said about how this married couple reflects what so many other marriages that have ended in divorce do not. Wedding vows tend to go something like this, "I, ____, take you, ____, to be my lawfully wedded(husband/wife),to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part." For the husband in this story these vows seem to be written in stone in his heart. Now to those reading this - no, I don't want to marry anytime soon... BUT! I can admire marriages that truly reflect (in my point-of-view) biblical truth.

Ephesians 5: 25-28
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
